March 24, 2012 Flowing Wells Ranch This private duck club is located north of California City near Cantil. Several lakes and shallow pools for shorebirds, plus the nearby Rancho de Nada attracts a lot of blackbirds, goldfinch and sparrows. Depending on rainfall, a sink to the east regularly becomes a large lake with large flocks of Snow Geese.
Meet in Tehachapi at 7:30AM in the K-Mart parking lot near Burger King.
